TRIDA will conduct survey for widening the existing NH-47 from Pappanamcode to Balaramapuram-Vazhimukku.According ti TRIDA secretary,Dileep Kumar,the process of issuing notification for land acquisition from Karamana to Pappanamcode is in progress.The entire stretch from Karamana to Balaramapuram-Vazhimukku will be widened to 4-lane.Pappanamcode,Nemom & Balaramapuram junctions will also be improved.The detailed project report will be submitted to NHAI.

As far as I know, the land required for widening has been alread yaquired from karamana to pappanamcode except in a few places (kaimanam jn and mosque near CET). So it will be a quick process. Right?
