Yes, Rajadhani is leading a silent revolution in the hospitality front.
This one is on the LBS Road, Palayam
Another one is shaping up on the MG Road, near old ICICI Bank building in 9 floors
2 more planned on IT Corridor, one opposite Technopark and another near Technocity
Heard that they also have plans for a star hotel near KIMS(not sure though)

Exactly! They have projects in every corner of the city. I was confused about any one would know the actual name of that road!! When I said about LBS road, people thought it was in Poojapura!!

Heera will start works on the Lake Walk and Lake View towers(both 21 floors) in Akkulam, though they will not be officially launched soon. The towers will be rising up on either sides of the Akkulam bridge when you drive towards Technopark. Now that will be some view!!!

Heera has this unique technique of choosing major entry points into the city to build their landmarks. Look at Pattom, Kowdiar. Kesavadasapuram etc, the junctions are dominated by Heera highrises. Now they are going to transform Akkulam lakeside.

And await announcement of plethora of projects from Heera in the coming months..which includes the tallest residential tower in Kerala!

Any news on the link road between NH and NH Bye-pass???? (The one from Uloor Jn thru Akkulam boat club upto Kuzhivila in the NH Bye-pass, near to Akkulam bridge). I believe the Air force had handed over funds to government for the development of this road into four lane 10-15 years back and now they are less interested. But, with the proposal of International convention center underway, development of this road is inevitable. The scope for investment along this route is very high anticipating the growth prospects.

You said !!! It will be a real life saver for many in terms of rushing to Medical College hospital upon emergency. From Bye-pass up to Uloor junction, it seems ok. But surpassing beyond this point up to emergency care block will be too hard….. Also, the Casuality has now been shifted much beyond from main road. What do you say?

Is there any possibility of developing an existing road on the right side (while heading towards Uloor from Akkulam) which leads to Medical College compound avoiding that busy stretch of road? I am sure there will be some minor/local roads suitable for development.

Just wait for a few days Rahul... Why break the surprise now? The design works are ongoing for this landmark project near Kazhakkuttam.
